Cosmic Coda

This is a movie night showing Cosmic Coda, a film featuring historical footage of MIT Professor and 2017 Physics Nobel prize winner Rainer Weiss, together with modern footage of LIGO.

Additionally, this event features Q&A with the film maker, Mary-Jane Doherty, and Professor Lynn Cominsky, a member of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration who knew Nobelist Rai Weiss from her days at MIT as a graduate student.
